Arrested for carrying tools of trade - Almost

I'm 99% finished work wise for trip and popped into town from work . Visited court to find out procedure to evict tenant .
Forgot about metal detector . Was carrying two leatherman multitools and duly put them into tray .
Got cautioned and told I can not carry any " offensive weapon " On leaving doorman told me I was lucky as his instructions are to call the police at once to have offenders arrested .
Cant wait to get out of this place !
